HOME PORTFOLIO CONTACT LINKS

This site will predominantly feature photography of RAF aircraft. Photography will be from various station visits (both inside and outside the fence) and various airshows, along with the occasional trip abroad.

The images on this website have been split in to five sections, UK, USA, European, Rest of the World and special markings. The special markings section contains aircraft from all around the world that have had commemorative paint schemes applied to either their tails or complete the complete aircraft.

Along with the images on this site, you will also find a link to my other project, the restoration of an iconic Cold War aircraft. This comes in the form of Lightning T.5 XS456.

Coming soon . . . A new section will soon be added to this site to showcase my landscape images.

I spent my early years in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Naturally as the home of the RAF, Lincolnshire had plenty to offer the aviation enthusiast in the mid 70s and I spent much time visiting the various airfields such as Binbrook, Coningsby and Waddington. But over the years after moving away from the area my interest diminished.

In 2007 I joined the staff at Cottesmore Aviation Group / On Target Aviation, where I spent two years as Webmaster. Then in January 2009 I launched B.C.A.R. (Bomber County Aviation Resource). By now my interest had grown again resulting in me buying a camera.

I started aviation photography in 2007, and was lucky enough to have been invited to Excerise "Red Flag" at Nellis AFB, USA in 2008. Since then I have had several images published in various aviation magazines and websites. My local airfields are RAF Coningsby and Waddington, which I visit regularly. But I can also be found at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath.

In 2018 my interest in photography expanded with the addition of  landscape images. The results of this will soon be added to this website,
